How We Met

They frequented “Greek Peak” a small ski mountain in the area. They share a love of sushi, outdoor activities, traveling and horseback riding.
Lindsay graduated vet school in 2008 and started working at a 30 doctor small animal practice in Fairfax VA while John finished his 4th year of vet school at Cornell. Six hours apart, they made the commute to visit each other whenever possible. In 2009 John graduated vet school and started an equine internship in Ringoes NJ. It was slightly closer to Virginia and Lindsay and John continued their long distance relationship.
In 2010, John started an equine surgery residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Lindsay quit her job in VA to join John in Columbus shortly thereafter. She now works at a 7 doctor small animal hospital in Westerville Ohio. In her free time she rows with the Greater Columbus Rowing Club, plays on a local volleyball team, and horseback rides. John spends most of his time at his residency but also finds time for soccer, biking, and running. John will finish his residency in July and Lindsay and John will move where jobs are available. They plan to take a break for a honeymoon before their move.

This is a very unique venue for a wedding reception. The ambience of every room in the club is very inspiring to create an exceptional wedding reception

Wedding: Katelyn & Jerad
After their engagement shoot I knew the wedding was going to be
amazing! I was right!

Ceremony: The Courthouse, Albany NY

Band: New York Players
We have worked many times with Mike Emery and his band, and they are always on top of their game, but they were on fire January 5th, 2013!

We started our day at Katelyn’s family home where the wedding party were enjoying the excitement of the beginning of their day with getting their hair and make-up done. Katelyn’s family is very close it was a total pleasure to be spending the day with all of them!
Katelyn looked stunning in her wedding gown even with her yellow rain boots in the snow with her bridal party! So much fun! From there we met Jared at The Fort Orange Club where the first look was going to be set up. That turned out perfectly and from there we went to the Courthouse where Katelyn and Jared got married in one the court rooms! This is so special but so apropos since Katelyn is a lawyer. We took, advantage of this
magnificent building and took family pictures and some very special photos of the bride and groom. With more time on our side, we went to the NYS Museum for some more very unique pictures that just added to this amazing day! One more stop to The Egg on the Plaza and the final stop before the reception we went to state street for the photo in the middle of the road looking downtown!

TIME TO PARTY!
As we arrived, guests were enjoying cocktail hour and then were invited into the dining-room and partake in a a four course dinner that was so magnificent, thanks to Jared who is the Chef at The Fort Orange Club. After dinner guests were invited into another room to indulge in some tempting desserts and coffee!

Later in the evening after guests worked off dinner with the band playing some fun music, there were wedding party introductions, cake cutting and finished the evening with more dancing! This was our first wedding for the New Year and we will never forget it!

Thank you Katelyn & Jared for allowing us to be part of your day! You truly made this day special for us by choosing all the unique places we visited and your enthusiasm along with your families and friends made our day easy and so much fun!
Congratulations Katelyn & Jared!

Saratoga National Golf Club

Venue: Saratoga National Golf Club, Saratoga Springs NY
The attention to detail is always above and beyond expectations from the wedding coordinator, to the banquet manager, the staff and the chef

Wedding: Laura & Jim
Easy going, fun, and just a pleasure to work with

Ceremony: Foyer @ Saratoga National Golf Club
Officiant: Pastor Bruce Newman

Music for Ceremony: Chamber Orchestra, String Trio, Mary Gilman
Florist: Price Chopper, Clifton Park, Katie
Reception Music: TS Ensemble, Al & his band
Whenever we work with Al and the band, it is a treat! They are not only musicians, but entertainers!

As you can imagine, having a wedding in December, can be a challenge for pictures outside. Yet for Laura, Jim and their wedding party, they had no issues as to being outside, after all, they are both meteorologists! The beginning of our day started out with spending time with Laura, her bridesmaids and parents. There was excitement in the room, yet at the same time, Laura was very calm. Later on we went to Saratoga National to meet up with the groom and his groomsmen and spent time with them before the ceremony. Guests started to arrive as Danielle the banquet manager and her staff put the final touches in place in for the ceremony. As Laura and her Dad walked down the stairs, you could hear a pin drop as Jim and guests watched with anticipation.

Laura looked so beautiful and I’m sure Jim was thinking the same thing as did all the guests. After a very sweet meaningful ceremony guests were directed upstairs to the cocktail hour and we continued with family pictures.

Entering the ballroom is always a treat and Laura had a vision and it was created! With cocktail hour over it was time to get this party started! After all the formalities were over, TS Ensemble finished off the night with music that had everyone on the dance floor to enjoy this happy occasion!

Thank you for allowing us to capture this amazing fun day with you both along with your families and friends!

Your enthusiasm and willingness to go along with our ideas made our work easy and fun for us too!

Congratulations Laura & Jim!

The Old Daly Inn at Crooked Lake

Wedding: Kelly & Ryan
Date: November 3rd, 2012
Venue: The Old Daly Inn at Crooked Lake
DJ: Metro Music / Patrick Bergeron

When I heard that we were going to be shooting a wedding at the Old Daly Inn, I was very excited! I have been hearing wonderful things about it and how beautiful it looks after all the work they have put into the building. I must say that everything I heard was correct and beyond! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed like you were entering a close friend’s home. Kelly and Ryan could not have chosen a better location to start their marriage with 200 of their closest family and friend’s!

From the moment we met the two of them, first with Kelly getting ready in the bridal suite and then with Ryan just chilling with his groomsmen, I knew this was going to be a spectacular day! From make-up to shoes and everything in-between, Kelly looked stunning and her smile lit up the room! After Kelly and Ryan had their first look it was non-stop fun and laughter! In spite of the chill in the air outside, they were still willing to take advantage of the lake and grounds.

As everyone was enjoying cocktail hour in the bar, we took advantage of taking pictures in the magnificent ballroom with trees lit, wood floors and beautiful table settings! The celebration began with introductions and a very romantic first dance, with Kelly and Ryan enjoying their moment together. After all the formalities, and a wonderful dinner served by the very attentive staff, the party really started! Patrick did a great job and had everyone on the dance floor all night! Kelly even had a surprise for Ryan dancing with her western boots that had everyone laughing and cheering!

Thank you Kelly and Ryan for a very memorable day! Your enthusiasm and free spirit made it a pleasure to have been part of your special day!

Congratulations, and may you always enjoy health and happiness!

Wedding for: Megan and Ryan
It was a magnificent day to have a wedding outside, overlooking the golf course with the beautiful view in the background! Megan should be a bridal planner with all her creative ideas as you will see from the photographs. Everything took place at the country club, so we were able to take advantage of every area of the grounds to get creative! Megan looked so pretty in her perfect lace gown adorned with her flowers and parasol! Time to find the groom and set up the reveal which was a success! The ceremony was very special too! Megan who had a cage filled with live butterflies, representing family members no longer around. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour outside on the patio, while we enjoyed spending time with Megan and Ryan!

After introductions, first dance, toasts a wonderful dinner and cake cutting, this wedding party was ready to dance! The dance floor was rocking all night with everyone having a great time!

Thank you Megan and Ryan for this opportunity to be part of this spectacular day! It was truly a joy to work with you both. Your enthusiasm and willingness to listen to our ideas made our work easy and fun!
