Sixty State Place Wedding

Filed under: Albany,Sixty State Place — admin @ 2:23 pm

We all know that October 31st is Halloween, but what a fantastic day for a wedding, especially the one for
Leah and Dave!
I can’t think of a more perfect couple to choose this date for their special day! They totally embraced the idea of Halloween in a very classy way with unique masks, a magnificent venue at 60 State St Albany, and David Michael Schmidt transforming the room was magical!
We always spend time with the bride first and then the groom which is always enjoyable, but once the ceremony was over and these two were together, OMG, it was like non-stop fun! The connection Leah & Dave have with each other made our work so easy!
Thank you so much for this opportunity to capture this incredible happy day for the two of you and your families!
Congratulations Leah & Dave!
We wish all the best and a life time of health, happiness and laughter!

The State Room October 2014 Wedding

I sound like a broken record, but we have the best brides and grooms! This was truly a magical day as we ventured out into downtown Albany where Amanda and Alex would be celebrating their special day! As we started our day with Amanda and her bridal party, we enjoyed the ideas that Amanda had for certain photo’s she wanted and Michael’s vision for location and later adding Alex and his groomsmen into the mix made for one fun amazing day! After the Church ceremony, we went back to Albany for the reception at the magnificent 100 State Street! Nothing was left out of this happy day for Amanda and Alex, with family and friends enjoying every moment to celebrate the joining of this happy couple!
Thank you Amanda & Alex for your enthusiasm and ideas and willingness to embrace this day for all the memories you will be reminded of as you view the images of your wedding day. Thank you for choosing us to capture this day for you both and making our work so easy and pleasurable!
Congratulations, Amanda & Alex!
We wish you all the health and happiness life has to offer!

What can I say about Nicole and Josh except “WOW”!!! From the moment we
arrived at Nicole’s family home, from outside we heard Nicole scream
“MICHAEL IS HERE” and I knew this was going to be one memorable day! Nicole
had us laughing from the beginning of the day with her high energy and quick
wit to the end of the night still going strong with her new husband Josh
right by her side on the dance floor!!!

It was a whirlwind day starting with Nicole and her girls getting ready with
hair and make-up and then everyone breathless as Nicole showed off her
stunning wedding dress! We continued with spending special time with the
bride-to-be, family and wedding party capturing the beginning of this
amazing day! Next up, it was time to meet Josh, his brothers and groomsmen
at the Church where they were patiently waiting to get started and lots of
joking going around!!! After the beautiful ceremony and a short photo
opportunity, we were off to Sage College and then onto the Franklin Plaza.

After everyone enjoyed the magnificent spread for the cocktail hour, guests
were invited to the beautiful ballroom at the Franklin Plaza to start the
evening festivities. From the introductions, the first dance, toasts,
dinner and everything in-between, I did not stop smiling along with everyone
else who lucky enough to be part of the celebration of Nicole & Josh!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Nicole & Josh for choosing us to be part of
this incredible, amazing day with all of you!! Your enthusiasm and sense of
humor was so easy for us to capture every moment of this happy day! I
personally want to adopt you both!!!

We wish you all the health, happiness and love you both deserve!

Nicole and Eric’s Wedding

The Crooked Lake House

Picture perfect weather

Ceremony by the water

Three dogs

Awesome Family and Friends

PRICELESS……

All of our weddings lately, have seriously been memorable, with no exception
for Nicole & Eric! Starting out at Nicole’s parent’s home where hair and
make-up continued while we took care of our preliminary work. Nicole looked
beautiful in her gorgeous dress as she walked downstairs for all to admire!
After we finished with Nicole, parents and bridal party we were off to the
magnificent Crooked Lake House to get a head start before we met up with
Eric, his best man, the groomsmen and his two dogs! Guests were starting to
arrive and shortly after that Nicole also arrived. No first look, so the
ceremony began and I had the opportunity to watch Eric as Nicole walked down
the aisle with her father and it was a very special moment! After a
beautiful ceremony, guests were invited to the cocktail hour while we
continued outside on this beautiful day with family photos, bridal party and
just bride and groom.

As everyone continued enjoying the cocktail hour, we got started capturing
everything in this magnificent ballroom that looked enchanting!

Now guests were invited into the ballroom to start the rest of this happy
celebration for Nicole & Eric! After introductions, first dance, parent
dances and some very funny toasts, a delicious dinner was served by the very
attentive staff at the Crooked Lake House, while Marty and Janice made sure
everything was perfect! This group was ready to party and dance the night
away, so it was time for DJ Paul Malo to take over and as always, he had the
house rocking for all to enjoy!

Michael and I just want to thank you for choosing us to capture this very
special day for you and your families! It was as much fun for us and from
what I observed over the top for the two of you! We truly appreciate your
enthusiasm and willingness to allow us to make sure you will look back at
this joyful day as you turn the pages of your wedding album.

Congratulations, Nicole & Eric!

May your life together be filled with health, happiness and the love you
have for each other and your puppies!

Glen Sanders Mansion

Filed under: The Glen Sanders Mansion — admin @ 2:31 pm

We have the best brides and grooms! Every wedding is different except for
one similarity…we always have so much FUN thanks to the enthusiasm of the
wedding couple, bridal party and the families and friends!!!! It is a
joyful, happy time to celebrate the bride and groom and that is exactly what
we see!!!

From the beginning of our day starting at Jennifer’s parent’s home, we knew
right away there would be happiness, laughter and happy tears! Arriving at
the house, hair and make-up continued which gave us the opportunity to get
started on our preliminary photographs until the time Jennifer was ready to
finish getting ready and show off her gown to her family and she looked
radiant! After finishing up with some family pictures and bridal party, we
were off to St. Ambrose Church to meet up with the very handsome Shaun and
his two best men, (his brothers) and his groomsmen. Jennifer arrived in the
limo with all her girls and with everyone in place, time to get this happy
couple married! When family photographs were completed at the church we
continued our day at the magnificent Glen Sanders Mansion on the Mohawk
River. While guests were enjoying the cocktail hour on the patio, we
continued with the Jen, Shaun and the entire bridal party with plenty of
time for them to join the cocktail hour!

The ballroom looked beautiful as guests found their tables to get ready for
the introductions, which were hysterical! First dance, toasts, dinner, cake
cutting and later in the evening a very special surprise dessert display on
the patio was enjoyed by all! One more special photo that Jen requested and
that was the sparklers that spelled out LOVE! So much fun getting that
perfect!

Thank you Jen and Shaun for choosing us to capture this amazing wedding day
for all of you! It was so much fun and we felt like part of the Sidoti
family for the day!

Congratulations Jennifer & Shaun!

We wish you all the ingredients for a happy marriage; health, happiness,
laughter and love!

Alicia and Tim’s Wedding

Date: August 29, 2014

Venue: Mohawk River Country Club

DJ: Mike Garrissi

Labor Day Weekend and it was a labor of love for our two happy couples,
starting with Friday’s wedding for Alicia and Tim! The Mohawk River Country
Club in Rexford was our first wedding for the weekend. The weather was
absolutely perfect and spirits were at high energy where we found Alicia and
her bridal party all dressed and ready. We stepped out of the bridal suite
at the club while Alicia prepared to get ready and as we entered the room
again, we found a beautiful bride ready for this happy day to start! Since
the ceremony and reception all took place at the Country Club, we took
advantage of this amazing setting for the first look, family pictures and
the entire bridal party!

While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, we continued with Alicia and Tim and
took advantage of the golf course that sits right behind the club and we
succeeded in capturing some beautiful photographs and time enough for Alicia
and Tim to enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests.

After all the formalities, guests were treated to a delicious dinner and
bridal cake thanks to the very attentive Banquet Manager and staff who are
always consistent with their attention to details!

The rest of the evening was focused on DJ Mike Garrisi from Music Man
Entertainment, who packed the dance floor with everyone celebrating this
happy occasion with Alicia and Tim who certainly enjoyed themselves as well!

This was truly a fun day especially when you spend it with a very fun loving
couple who just smiled and enjoyed every moment of the beginning of their
lives together!

We want to thank you so much for allowing us to capture this wonderful day
with you, your families and friends!

Congratulations Alicia and Tim, and enjoy all the health and happiness life
has to offer!

Estate Wedding September 2014

Filed under: Estate — admin @ 2:21 pm

WOW!!!!! Everything about this wedding for Elizabeth and Matt had that WOW
factor from beginning to end!!! We first met up with Elizabeth, her family
and bridal party at their home where hair and make-up was taking place. We
are always so happy when Alayne and her staff from Make-me-Fabulous are all
on board. As always we started our photographs with all the preliminary
shots that were all laid out, thanks to Christine Wheat and her staff who
were there for not just the bride and groom but for us as well every step of
the way.

Moving on, it was time for Elizabeth to get dressed and again, WOW!
Stunning, elegant, magnificent are just a few of the words to describe the
bride-to-be! The photographs really tell the entire story of this memorable
day! From there we went to see how Matt was doing and spend some quality
time with him and his best men and groomsmen. We had so much fun with them
until it was time to set up the first look. From, there we continued with
bridal party and then onto St. Mary’s Church in Albany for a beautiful
ceremony.

While all this was happening David Michael Schmidt and his team from
Renaissance Floral Design were putting on the finishing touches to the
outdoor tent for cocktail hour and the tent for the sit down dinner. After
the ceremony we wanted to get back to the house before the guests arrived so
that we could capture this breathtaking display of magnificent floral
arrangements and table setups. As the guests arrived I noticed that they
were speechless or just in awe of everything they had to look at as they
approached the cocktail tent. Later guests were invited to the dinner tent
where again they were totally impressed how a tent could be transformed into
this stunning setting that just impressed everyone, especially Elizabeth,
Matt and their parents as they viewed it for the first time all finished!

Continuing with the introductions where the bridal party entered together
dancing in a conga line and then the first dance that was executed
magnificently! After guests were treated to a delicious dinner thanks to
Lily and the Rose, the rest of the formalities were complete and the dancing
began, which literally had everyone out of their seats and rocking the dance
floor!

We just can’t thank you enough, Elizabeth and Matt, for allowing us to be
part of this memorable exciting day for you, your families and friends!
Your enthusiasm and sense of humor and willingness to just embrace this
happy day was an inspiration for us!

Congratulations Elizabeth and Matt!

We wish all the health, happiness and love life has to offer you!
