Somebody needs to pinch me to make sure I am not dreaming! Why you ask; because we have consistently had the most amazing brides and grooms!
This weekend was no exception! Jessica, looked gorgeous from hair and make-up to her beautiful gown and shoes! At her parents house we took advantage of the
well groomed garden for pictures before we took off for the church. We found John at the church beaming with anticipation for the arrival of his bride-to-be! After the ceremony we time to spare,
so we went to the Colonie Park for some fun bridal party shots! From there we finished up the photos over by the Mohawk River,
at The Glen Sanders Mansion boat docks, a favorite spot for the newlyweds!
Everyone was enjoying the cocktail hour until it was time to really get this party started! Not only did guests enjoy the amazing food, wedding cake and dessert display, everyone was going to be treated to something very special! After the wedding party and Jessica and John were announced, the surprise danced into the ballroom………a beautiful belly dancer dressed in her traditional costume! The crowd went wild and after all the formalities, she performed several traditional dances for everyone to enjoy!
It was a magical night that was non-stop laughter, fun, dancing and happiness!
We sincerely want to thank you Jessica and John for this amazing opportunity to capture this day with you and your loving families!

It’s Saturday and that means we are ready for another amazing wedding with Kerry and Shawn! Starting at Kerry’s Dad’s house where all the action was taking place. Hair, make-up, bridesmaids, soon to be mother-in-law, one very proud father and the family dog! Kerry looked breathtaking in her gorgeous wedding dress as everyone looked on with tears of happiness.
We have a very busy day so we were off to St. Augustine’s Church for pictures of the handsome groom and a beautiful ceremony. From there it was off to Shawn’s gym where we had a fun photo shoot and just down the road a new park made for another nice backdrop for more pictures! Next stop…..Glen Sanders Mansion to get this party started, but not until we took advantage of the dock on the Mohawk River for pictures! The reception was filled with more fun, laughter, food, dancing, and one very happy newlywed couple!

Thank you so much Kerry & Shawn for your enthusiasm and allowing us to get creative and capture this amazing day for you! It was a pleasure and so much fun!

Blair and Jeffrey’s Wedding
March 31st, 2012

The last day in March, and in spite of the snow that fell in the morning, it cleared up for Blair’s wish for no snow on her wedding! We arrived at the Mansion where Blair and her family were getting glamorous with hair and make-up, thanks to Alayne from Make-Me-Fabulous! I knew it was going to be a fun day, thanks to everyone just relaxed and enjoying the anticipation of the excitement of the day ahead! Even the flower girls Emerson and Alisa were giggling and posing for Michael for some fun pictures! Now it was time for Blair’s photo shoot and she looked absolutely beautiful and so happy!

Next stop St. Mary’s Church in Ballston Spa to catch up with the groom Jeffrey and his brother Pat. The fun continued at the church with photo’s, laughter and anticipating the arrival of the bride-to-be! After an emotional ceremony, and family photo’s, it was time to get back to The Glen Sanders Mansion for the celebration of Blair and Jeffrey!

As always, the ambiance and the attention to detail from the management and staff at the Mansion, certainly exceeds the expectations of everyone’s dream wedding! That is what I observed as Blair and Jeff entered the ballroom for their first look. From there the night continued with introductions, first dance, toasts, delicious food, and music thanks to the awesome DJ Fernando, from Piano Man’s DJ Productions.

Michael and I just want to thank you and your family for a very enjoyable day! The enthusiasm and happiness you have with each other made this day so much fun!

Alicia and Alex’s Wedding
Sunday, June 26th 2011

June is busting out all over; with RAIN! Not a good thing when brides want to be married outside. Alicia and Alex were lucky and the heavens didn’t open up at all for their wedding day, which resulted in a very beautiful ceremony under the gazebo overlooking the Mohawk River!
Alicia was beaming as she walked down the stairs in her stunning white gown in anticipation of seeing her handsome groom just before they said “I DO.”After the ceremony, guests wee directed to the patio upstairs where they were treated to a delicious assortment of appetizers and cocktails, and we continued our photos outside with Alicia, Alex, family and wedding party, still taking advantage of the perfect weather!
As we entered the ballroom, you couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the table looked thanks in part to Central Market Florist!
Time flies by when you are having fun, and before we knew it, all the formalities were complete and DJ Brian from Conway Entertainment, brought this party to an end! As usual, The Glen Sanders and their attentive staff, did an amazing job by making another dream wedding come true!

Stephanie and Michael’s Wedding
Saturday, May 29th 2011

Labor Day Weekend. The perfect weekend to celebrate the beginning of summer and getting married. That is exactly what Stephanie and Michael had in mind and what a spectacular weekend it turned out to be. Picking the right location for a long weekend for your out of town guests and family to celebrate and spend quality time together is The Glen Sanders Mansion. The ceremony was outside overlooking the Mohawk River, where Stephanie and Michael got married under the gazebo that was decorated to accommodate this beautiful Jewish ceremony.
Before the wedding we all gathered into the Sanders Suite of the Mansion Hotel
where Alanyne from Make Me Fabulous did just that; Stephanie looked stunning
with her perfect make-up and wedding dress! It was like she walked out of a bridal magazine. After the signing of the Katuba, the actual ceremony took place
for everyone to enjoy and wish Stephanie and Michael “Mazel Tov”!
The cocktail hour took place on the patio with an amazing assortment of appetizers and drinks! Body and Soul, the band for the evening had everyone out of their seats dancing the hoora! So much fun! From the engagement pictures to the wedding pictures, it has truly been a pleasure being part of this wonderful journey!

Amy and Dan’s Wedding

I know I have said this many times; winter weddings can be tricky when it comes to mother nature and what she might throw at us this time of year! For Amy and Dan it was next to perfect not being too cold and no snow falling! In general I don’t think anything could bother this easy going happy couple! Amy looked so pretty and Dan was so handsome as he watched his bride to be walk down the isle at the Church. Then we went back to the beautiful Glen Sanders Mansion for the reception. Before the festivities began, Amy and Dan were very willing to go
outside and take advantage of the spectacular view of the Mohawk River with all the ice formations that take place this time of year! As always The Glen Sanders Mansion and their staff did a fantastic job with the food, the service and making every brides dream come true! Thanks also to DJ Cap Capello for providing the music for the evening!
We would like to thank you Amy and Dan for for allowing us to be part of this very happy day! It truly was a pleasure working with you!

New Year’s Eve

Nicole and Andrew’s Wedding
What a great way to spend New Year’s Eve; a wedding at The Glen Sanders Mansion, where else!!!!
We had an amazing weekend of weddings starting with Nicole and Andrew’s rocking New Year’s Eve wedding celebration!

The day started with Andrew and his groomsmen who looked very handsome as they relaxed and watched the football game. When we arrived at Nicole’s house, there was music, make-up and lots of laughter! Nicole looked beautiful and after pictures with her family and the girls in her wedding party it was off to the church! After a flawless ceremony it was on to The Glen Sanders Mansion to start celebrating! It was truly a magical night starting with cocktail hour on the patio and then dinner and dancing with DJ Kyle from Piano Man in the magnificent ballroom with breathtaking floral arrangements from anthology design studio! At the stroke of midnight, Nicole and Andrew were right in the middle of balloons dropping and surrounded by family and friends with hats and champagne, celebrating two happy occasions!!!
Thank you Nicole an Andrew for allowing us to capture this amazing day with you! We wish health and happiness for your marriage and the New Year!

Glens Sanders was the location for this upstate bride and downstate groom. It was a spectacular day with incredible sunsets. Michael’s dad has a vintage Thunderbird which made for some great images. A beautiful ceremony on the Mohawk River and then photos on the dock. Thank god no one fell in. Paul Malo was the DJ for the ceremony and reception, Paul always does an  great job. Both families could not thank me enough, we all had a great time.

Never have I experienced a more fun couple than these two. From the beginning of the day to the very last photo, WOW. Here is a small sample of their incredible day even though the weather did not hold up for the ceremony. But after the rain the clouds were awesome.
