When you think of destination weddings, what comes to mind; an Island or a Cruise somewhere in the tropics?  This weekend, I think that Heather and Greg planned a destination wedding that was more romantic and closer to home.

The Sagamore Resort in beautiful Bolton Landing, New York. As Heather and her Dad walked down the long winding stairs from the top of the hotel veranda to the ceremony below overlooking the tranquil blue waters of Lake George, Heather was glowing with anticipation as she glanced at her husband to be surrounded by family and friends. After the ceremony we photographed the newlyweds on the boat dock and then walked on a small stretch of sand with a mild breeze coming off the lake that felt like they were on a private island of their own.

From Heather & Greg’s first dance, the fabulous dinner, to the cake cutting and then a magnificent unexpected rainbow that captured everyone’s attention, we witnessed a wedding that was memorable to friends, family and this photographer who truly enjoyed being a part of Heather & Greg’s wedding day.

  2. This was truly the best wedding I have ever been a part of. I love how each picture captures the love that was shared between family and friends that day. Most importantly the compassion, repect, loyalty, and love that Heather and Greg have for each other shines through in every picture of them. Absolutely Beautiful!
